 In order to fight BMW X6, which has been keeping for years the crown of the SUV’s luxury-coupe segment, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new GLE Coupe which will have to fight the second generation of the BMW X6.

 Mercedes-Benz didn’t gamble and used general lines of design and proportions, similar to the ones of the competitor model but of course on a closer look, they are different cars, with the BMW more athletic looking while the Mercedes has a more massive appearance.

 The GLE Coupe, will be available, with both diesel and petrol engine options, with an output range between 258 hp and 367 hp and it will be equipped with the new 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission.

 Among the standard luxury features, the customers can find: the DYNAMIC SELECT (dynamic handling control system); the EASY-PACK (power  opening and closing tailgate), and the reversing camera with dynamic guide lines in the display are standard features.

 The prices have not yet been announced, but Mercedes-Benz will announce them really soon.
