Daihatsu, announced record sales for it's new Wake model, which was released a month ago, on November 10, 2014 and has recorded a sales number of 15.000 units on December 9, 2014, which is three times more than the targeted sales number.

 Another unexpected event was that the car has more than 60% male customers which is something rare in this car class.
