After four years of customers begging for a STi powered BRZ, Subaru may be taking all this loud voices very seriously as the company unvieled the BRZ STi Performance Concept, which may indicate the fact that the brand is finally consiering expanding the STi range with a BRZ model.

  Compared to the standard version, this sporty model, received: suspension, chassis, and aero package modifications and more significantly, the long awaaited 4 cylinder boxer engine, similar to the one used to power the Subaru GT in Japan, developing around 300 hp, 100 more than the standard BRZ. However, this is not the first STi powered BRZ, since many customers had their patience running out and did the engine swap, by themselves.
